Its intricate swirls, loops, and lace-like patterns are created by layers of silica deposited over millions of years within ancient volcanic cavities. Found almost exclusively in northern Mexico, Crazy Lace Agate is renowned for its striking combinations of cream, grey, gold, red, and brown tones. With a hardness of 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale, it is often referred to as the "Laughter Stone" due to the joyful reputation it has earned within crystal traditions.
